Silver Needles with Jasmine is a loose leaf tea infused with the flavor and scent of jasmine flowers.

Silver Needles is China’s highest quality white tea and comes from the mountain region of the Fujian Province. The tender downy buds are picked, withered, and sun dried in the Spring then stored until August when it is infused with fresh jasmine flowers.

Caffeine: 15 mg / 6 oz cup

• Place 2 teaspoon of tea for each 12-16 oz. pot.
• Bring freshly drawn and filtered cold water to 160°F - 180°F (previously boiled water has lost most of its oxygen and tends to be flat tasting).
• Pour the boiling water into the teapot.
• Cover and let steep for 3 - 5 minutes according to taste (the longer the steeping time the stronger the tea).
• Do not add milk or sugar.

The preferred way to enjoy this tea is ’straight-up’.

Once the water is low, add more hot water and so on and so on, until the flavor is exhausted.
